Owner /Director

Gimenia Palmer

Ms. Gimenia is originally from the Dominican Republic and has lived in the United States for 18 years. She earned her Associate degree from Salt Lake Community College. She has been certified in Early Childhood Montessori Education through MATCE since 2006.

With 25 years of experience in education, including 20 years as a Montessori teacher, Ms. Gimenia is passionate about creating a nurturing environment where children can learn, grow, and develop at their own pace. What she loves most about teaching is watching each child’s unique journey—from arriving shy or unsure to becoming confident, independent, and comfortable in the classroom. She finds great joy in seeing children overcome their fears and challenges and witnessing the progress they make through consistency, patience, and discipline.

Ms. Gimenia believes that every child has their own pace and potential, and she feels grateful to be part of their growth and development. She is also passionate about continuing to learn and grow herself. She is currently studying to become a Play Therapy Specialist and enjoys learning new things. In her free time, she loves home renovation projects, hiking, exploring different parts of Utah, doing Zumba, and cooking.

Assistant teacher

Ms. Karen

She is originally from Mexico, where I studied Business Administration. I grew up around children, helping my mother in her preschool and kindergarten, where she was a teacher for more than 30 years.

After moving to the United States, I began working as a childcare provider and later worked at several daycares, including the courthouse daycare. I also completed training as a birth doula, supporting mothers before, during, and after childbirth. I have been working in Montessori for a few months and truly enjoy being around children. I believe children are kind and beautiful souls who are constantly growing, and that the support we give them at an early age can positively impact their lives for years to come.

In my free time, I enjoy reading, baking, going to the theater, and spending time outdoors.
